National Seniors Strokeplay Finals 2011
The National Senior Strokeplay Championships take centre stage this coming weekend in the Drogheda venue of Cement Pitch & Putt Club. The Ladies will tee the National Finals off on Saturday September 17th at 9am with the Senior Grade. The Inter Grade follows at 9.28am while the Junior Grade commences at 12noon in which our lone Offaly representative, Ferbane's Eileen McCabe, will carry all our hopes of a possible victory, we wish her the very best of luck!

The Gents event then takes place on Sunday September 18th starting with the Junior Grade from 9am which is closely followed by the Inter Grade from 9.36am. The Senior Grade will then tee off from 12noon with all titles to be decided over 36 holes. We wish all our Offaly players the very best of luck next weekend, they are as follows: Senior Grade - Patsy Reams (Ferbane), Billy Buckley Snr. (Erry), JJ Wynne (Erry) & Tommy Murphy (Ferbane), Inter Grade - Joe McGrath Snr. (Erry) and Junior Grade - Mick Kenny (Ferbane) & Denis Carter (Ferbane).
