About Us
The Pitch & Putt Union of Ireland is the governing body of amateur sport of Pitch & Putt in Ireland and is committed to promoting and developing Pitch & Putt as a competitive and recreational sport for people of all ages. The Offaly Pitch & Putt County Board is affiliated to the Pitch & Putt Union of Ireland and shares the same aims and commitments as stated.
It is testimony to all involved in the game in Offaly particularly at club level that we boast several championship standard courses and multiple provincial, national and international champions. This is attributed to the ever increasing standard of competitiveness within the county set by our players at all grades and the dedication of the club officers and grounds team in Erry, Tullamore and Ferbane. Our county officers are dedicated to maintaining such high standards and increasing the interest in the game. It is a game for all ages and genders. It is a game that can be played any time you wish and is a great form of physical activity. It can be played recreationally and competitively and is inexpensive. Pitch & Putt is a game for all to enjoy!
In our view the high ideals of the game are above all sportsmanship, integrity, and most important the enjoyment and social content of Pitch & Putt, win or lose.
